Alonso had the idea of creating a book bringing together cooking, memories and solidarity. The result? A traditional recipe book containing 18 recipes passed down from generation to generation with all proceeds from the book going to initiatives helping the elderly.

Hello, it has been a while. Over a year.
I know you have many questions.
It may be that you forgot that you even subscribed to this newsletter. Possibly you’re now 19 years old and your old A Level teacher made you join it and you never even looked at the website. Potentially you’re a past student of mine and this bought back some memories.
This is a very short one today because well, I’m busy and I just wanted to create something to get the ball rolling again after a year off.
I know that lots of you still use Boletín. I still recieve emails and messages and it’s always my number one resource on TES. The aim this year is to get back into a sustainable habit of making new worksheets.
No AI is used with Boletín. I’m acutely aware of the rise of AI resources and I can’t stand them. The finding of articles is done via searching for keywords and the worksheet is made in InDesign. This newsletter is written by me.
The focus of this edition is on young people’s eating habits in Spain. On my quest for a good story to link everything together I found a brilliant article which involves a young guy (Alonso) who made a recipe book to remember his nan via her recipes. I instantly bought it for the kitchen and class. You can to, here (if you fancy it).
You might be interested to know that I’ve been spending most of my creative energy on the Spanish Grammar Workbook which I published a few years ago. A third edition is now complete and will be on Amazon soon but more on that in a later edition. One thing I did over the Summer was to separate all of the teachable units into distinct resources. These are now on TES and there are new pages on: the weather, the pluperfect subjunctive, prepositions of place + lots more.
